Antique fittings with Red Ishime Saya (charcoal textured)

This was a fairly complex commissioned piece of work. The unique features include:

• Using antique tsuba, fuchi, kashira and menuki from Japan (made copper)
• Mounting menuki on the top of handle wrap
• silver plated seppas
• Making silver plated habaki with diagonal fine lines
• Red ishime saya that built up multiple layers of charcoal powder for texturing
